Asda, Tesco or Morrisons? One thing's for sure: never in a month of Sundays is that yours.

Yes very similar and I think the lady was craving more of that kimchi jjigae when she made that soup. Plenty leftover and I am going to have a bowl tonight. It has been cold here of late close to freezing and below it at night so this is the perfect food for the weather here.

Where'd you score the Duck fat?. I know where to buy it online, but haven't seen it in the local supermarkets???.

Got some deep-frying to do too, but won't be using Duck fat .

    ....Gettin' had
    Gettin' took
    I tell you folks
    It's harder than it looks...

^Yeah but there's only 1 in Pattaya that I know of. Dill mentioned the new one is on Sukhumvit but I've been on it between Phoenix golf and BP Hospital this week while keeping an eye out and haven't seen it. Can't find any mention of it online either, hence the question. Foodland on Klang (there's 3 of them here now) is still my go-to for weekly grocery shopping, but I like to see what every supermarket has on the shelves. Finding those Chiko Rolls last week was a real score .

Passing off a meal in a downmarket restaurant as being something you've cooked yourself?

Yes, it really does look like he's that sad.

You would think after the frozen pizzas were caught out he would realize there are people who can cook and know food on here....

Its in a little factory outlet park thing called Little Walk. Its a cont to get to, you have to go all the way down to the flyover on sukhumvit and do a u- turn, then come back and look out for the sign. Its about 500 metres before Soi Country Club turn off.

Ahh right - on Sukhumvit between the Siam Country club and Route 7, on the east side of the road ni the new complex there that used to be Index before it was moved to the other side.

I'm flattered that you all think that my dinner was restaurant food, check out the plates and work top.

All mine cooked from scratch apart from the aunt Bessies roasties, oh and Yorkshire pud.

Might have a leg of lamb tonight, oh it's gonna be mouth wateringly good.

I don't think those statements were qualified with the adjective Good.

I actually meant where he'd got his ready-made roast potatoes, yorkshire pud and frozen veg, but couldn't remember any of the brands that produced them.

Fortunately, Dil could with his Aunt Bessies pic.

As AO says above, the frozen pizza debacle lives long in the memory...

Miss fish's fish and stir fry with fresh picked ,like 10 minutes before, vegetables along with homemade spicy "jow."
I said I only wanted one piece of fish but she will still cook for an Army. Too bad all the kids ran off to bed so now leftovers will sit in the fridge.
