Saw some fantastic looking pork belly in Foodland today. It'd been a while since eating this (at home) so why not...

On a bed of garlic-mashed spud, with sauteed cabbage and bacon, and some beans on the side. It's hard to get the crackling perfect in an electric oven without fucking about shifting it around every few minutes under the elements for an even scorch, but it still worked out ok.

Pork chop for tea last night, with roasted veg and mashed sweet potato - I actually mashed half of them by mistake with some over zealous fork work while they were still par boiling. Sweet potatoes certainly don't have the robust qualities of a good old King Edward.
