^^ Yes, I would wrap them in foil and shove em in the oven on the lowest setting for an hour or two first, but hey, lazy whiskey drinkers glued to the sofa can't be too picky.

How was it? Were the ribs tough, not that there's a ton of meat on them?Originally Posted by Luigi
Not really. Very tasty. A good way of doing them. I'd slow bake them for an hour first though.
Best way to do ribs is IMHO to simply shallow fry them on all sides first just to brown them , then put them in a wok with water , give them a good old boil up to tenderise them.
Make your own sauce with some nice ingredients such as :
2 cloves crushed garlic
5 tea spoons brown sugar
5cm of cubed ginger
1 spoon of peanut oil
2 spoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon 5 spice
100ml Chinese BBQ sauce
2 tea spoon sweet chilli sauce
100ml honey
Drain your ribs off from the water then back into the wok covered in your sauce to bubble away again for 30 mins add extra water a little at a time if needed also add a little cornflour mixed with cold water just to thicken the sauce a bit if needed .
You will love these ribs done this way

Mrs Worx prefers small oysters (Sydney Rock) and the big ones are from Tasmania. The QLD Muddie tipped the scales at 1.45kg.
