Will you be stuffing a bird for Xmas?

I've had a few, is it just me or do those bananas look like dolphins.
I don't usually make plans for Christmas. I like to let the Lord move in mysterious ways and follow His wandering star.
Having said that Lao Lady came over for an evening by the fire earlier and was asking what I was doing for Christmas so I might have to make some best laid plans this year.

She came bearing gifts of Laksa meatball soup/stew with noodles.

She forgot to bring the chickens feet she told me. I tried to look disappointed.
She also brought some Ferrero Rocher and a carrot cake (my favourite cake) for pudding.

So I treated her to a defoliating back scrub in the rub-a-dub. Fair's fair.
I like the idea of a stuffed traditional bird of a Christmas arvo, but a turkey is biting off more than I can chew so a roast chicken seem to fit my bill and is my annual goto. When you buy them they are hot. I usually freeze one for the big day. This one came pre-frozen by LLL.
They are from Lao Lady's friend's garden. She got given a whole bunch and I got a beggar's hand off them
I see the dilemma here.
When there are several birds to stuff, which one reigns triumphant on thy Holy Day?
Walking on xmas tree baubles here.
I'd play it safe and get out of Dodge.
Bali for a smashed kebab, perhaps.
Is there at least a security intercom gate to the forest 2 miles down the road which can be put on mute?
Extra well done Ribeye and pork Chop with a salad and frozen crinkly cut chips stir fried on top of MamTor under an umbrella stark bollock naked apart from a pair of Wellington boots..

Cook that ribeye medium at the very most and I will give you a well done!
Which reminds me, I have a 2 x 5kg NZ Pasture-Fed Prime Steer Ribeye getting delivered today, in prep for my encroaching return to edible culinary matter.

Even the dog was happy

Even my dog wouldn't eat kimchi.
Rotten stuff.
It helps cut through the fat. Delicious

^That Armstrong special is making me quite hungry. You need 1 carbohydrate binge per week I think.
It has usually been Senorita the past few years but I think she is working this year.
I am fairly sure it will not be Hannah after a rookie error at the beach yesty after a couple of beers.

:spin:
That is worrying as I have never in my life done that before and got a woman's name mixed up. I could blame the beers but it could also be a sign that I need to change lanes with 60 on the horizon.
That reminds me of my apartment in Canberra. It had a video intercom doorbell in the lounge area with no mute/off switch. Less than ideal.

The wife did well....
Homemade steak and kidney pie with all the trimmings.

I finished up the last of the red Laughing Bird as well. I may even get a proper glass of wine in the UK next week.

Does your daughter get mainly western or Thai food at boarding school? And if it’s Western does that mean she knows what proper food looks like now?
I think she gets a mixture, maybe 50/50, although I do know that she doesn't get pies, proper sausages, fish and chips or lamb.
She has to come home for the good stuff!
I didn't

The beef shortrib with truffle mash was OK but they chitty'd the broccoli. I was going to liberate a saapoon or two to add to your collection but their teaspoons are weirdly 1/2 normal size like one of Hals Coke spoons.
^^^^^^Looks like a proper trad nosh, Mendo
Lao Lady brought chicken stir fry rice with her, so no cooking tonight
Attachment 130614
She also brought chocolate cake and banana cake that she had baked herself (only slightly burned on top) which I paired with a charming cookies and cream flavour ice cream for puds
Attachment 130615
To balance out the unhealthy carbs she brought a tray of mangoes from her tree.
Attachment 130616
She has got a tiny little tree in her tiny little garden that produces much bigger and more copious fruitage than my two giant trees do.
I could squeeze her little mangoes all day long.
Careful Loops, that pissed up Waffan SS degenerate is gonna take that German Mercedes for a curb crawl.
