Thai green curry... Norwegian style. Living the dream.
I get all my Thais from the same place... it's not very salubrious...
And the seating's a bit sparse... but I don't care because I always have a takeaway.
But it's cheap and sometimes the girl gives me a free spring roll to eat on the way back to my hotel.
^ I'm sorry mate, I'm just a simple country boy... you're gonna have to explain that?
I'm starting to suspect that curry and soup both translate into the same Norwegian word.
^ It was a bit watery to be honest, but like I said it's cheap. Only 130 NOK and that'll do me tomorrow night as well. That's 11 quid for two meals... you can't expect gordon blue in Norway for that.
And btw, curry is kari and soup is suppe... and that was without Google. I've picked up a thing or two over the last 30 years.
Something else I know... 'sjokoladepudding med vaniljesaus' is chocolate pudding with vanilla sauce!
I'm celebrating tonight.
Nice, what's with the shell fish?
You never go out on a date, Snub.
Yeah, the cook is very Thai Nid, from Isaan no less. We're friends on LINE!
She made me a nice larb moo a couple of weekends ago and I've been thinking about asking for a massaman, but I'll be home in a couple of weeks so may as well wait.
I only really go there for the convenience... it's just a 10 minute wait and very cheap!
Jeeper's, I'd be asking for authentic food every time.
But a new friend on Line? Asking for trouble when you get home and the missus checks your phone, are you not?
