Sorry mate, open invite. Just let me know when you’ll make it. First round is on me.
^^ I love that chilli crab... used to be a favourite when in Singapore... but such hard work and so messy...
If you're at the start of a night out wearing a half decent shirt a cheese sandwich is way safer.
These past couple of weeks our local Makro in Korat had had fresh leeks.
I want to stress I have not one drop of Welsh blood, but I love leeks.
As does the daughter...

My Welsh mate's wife's gone mad on growing tomatoes so I swapped a bag for a few eggs.
Last night it was carbonara wit tomato salad.

Ans tonight it was fish an' chips with peas and tomatoes.

It was barramundi tonight... sadly not from the pond but on offer at Makro.

I've decided that this will be my last ever bottle of Kraft Tartar Sauce... it's rubbish. Gotta find meself some Coleman's.
^ Bogon Tip #953
Turn your sauce bottle.
To top off a lovely weekend

Nice ratatouille addition there, you need deeper bowls Diil :)
^^ Good amount of gravy there too. Plus 1 point.
No roast potatoes though or a Yorkshire. Minus 1 point and an extra month getting bullied on the Nechells school route rota.
"Mexican" fucking veg on a Sunday roast! :smileylaughing:
You'll be giving Chitty ideas now. And that's not a good thing.
Definitely getting a bit queer though with Dafyd Nammers going all Provencal on us too.
Been on the alldayer in the garden, Sid? Slurring a bit there mate. You need a livener:)
^^^ help me out Hal, solly for the piss take but WTF if the solihull cash for crash bloke on about :)
Funnily enough I made my first Mexican last week with extra kidney beans.
I now know why they are called Mexican jumping beans because they make your knuckles go blue holding on to the porcelain bowl in the morning.
KW's spicy crab looks very nice.
Plenty of gravy Dill! We'll make a northerner out of you yet, but that cricket ball of paxo stuffing on the right can fook right off.
With regards to Leeks, the only place they have in a civilised society is up a Welshmans rear when he mounts a sheep.
Well she was the princess of Wales.
Goodnighty:cmn:

Anyway, enough about Nammers' hometown, let's have a joke:
What do you call a sheep tied to a fence in Wales?

A brothel :smileylaughing:
Not summer yet but they had cheap peppers and courgettes on offer and so i couldn't resist knocking up a 2Kg batch of ratatouille, most will get frozen but i had some left over baked spuds, threw it on top with a small (overcooked) sirloin on the side.

^ Well, what an amazing coincidence Strigils... and a fantastic looking meal to boot!
Not the summer bit... it is well and truly summer here with 38 degrees and not a breath of wind... but my mate's wife keeps pushing her tomatoes on me, and after some thought of how to put them to good use I also made up a batch of ratatouille tonight.
I must admit that after the abusive comments about my fusion cheesy carbonara with baked beans lunchtime dish I'd decided to stop posting in food threads, but tonight'smea; turned out pretty good, though I say it meself.
