Yes, I know ChatGPT is my friend, but what's the difference between a kebab and a shawarma?
GPT says “Kebab and shawarma are both popular Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes that are enjoyed worldwide. While they are similar in some ways, there are some key differences between them.Kebab typically refers to small pieces of meat (such as beef, lamb, or chicken) that are marinated and then skewered before being grilled or roasted. The meat may be served on its own, or it may be served with vegetables, rice, or pita bread. Kebabs may also be referred to as kabobs or kebobs.
Shawarma, on the other hand, is a Middle Eastern dish that is typically made from thin slices of meat (usually lamb, chicken, or beef) that are marinated and then roasted on a vertical spit. The meat is shaved off the spit and served with vegetables, sauces, and sometimes pita bread. Shawarma is often served as a sandwich or wrap.
While kebab and shawarma share some similarities in terms of their preparation methods and ingredients, the key difference is the way the meat is cooked and served. Kebabs are usually small pieces of meat on a skewer, while shawarma is thinly sliced meat that is roasted on a vertical spit. Additionally, shawarma is often served in a wrap or sandwich, while kebab can be served on its own or with other sides”
People who use chatgbt as Google. So cringe.
Either mash it up and spread it or get some buns in your life!
I stand suitably chastened! But if anyone says add brown sauce I’ll be avoiding that!
