    I really can not see why you keep doing your own thinking, There was no guns in that because I worked more hours in a day that most of you did in a week, an 18 hour day was normal and a 32 between coming to work and going home to change cloths was not unheard of in my line of work and guns were to expensive to leave in a trailer by its self when everyone around knew what hours we kept.
    My guns were at home locked up.
    And besides I was away from home to work, not be going shooting all the time.

    I make my own rub out of salt, seasoned pepper and brown sugar... Used when smoking briskets, chicken and pork...

    Damn, just like the omelet thread a while back, I'm gonna have to run to the store and pick up a roasting hen, stick a can of beer up it's butt and throw it in the smoker...

    Oh yeah, Carling Black Label is a brand name in the US...

    Thats about what mortons is but it also contains nitrates and hickory smoke flavor so even in an oven it tastes smoked, but it also makes chicken breast and turkey taste like ham, I should have some of it here when DeckApe gets back.
    And I never used roasters, I always bought whole fryers on sale, specially since I am bad about giving away stuff I make, and it makes it easier to afford when ya buy shit on sale.

    Don't knock it till you've tried it. I agree it sounds a tad wierd, but I tried it with a really well flavoured stock in the can instead of beer ( I don't drink) and it's now our favourite way to cook chicken. Takes no longer than roasting one in a regular oven, but it makes even a cheap chicken taste great.
