Here is one we finished last year....

I think the guy with the kitchenless child should take note here and see what a great kitchen does to the well being and healthy level headed upbringing of a little girl...

Bloody luvly job mate but why didn't the builder continue the wall cabinet and over the fridge?

I also reckon some tasteful mozaic tiles would set that kitchen off a treat.

I don't really have a kitchen, just a cooking area in the corner of my Muang Thong bedsit.

Here it is... I know it's not much but Timber cooked here once.

^ Better than I had and for the first 10 years I spent here in LOS mate.

It is not the kitchen, it's the cook that makes all the difference.

Getting into that cabinet over the fridge would be awkward, so no need for it really as plenty already there and the 3 panel glass door in the rear leads into a huge pantry.

As for colour....well the house was a crisp and clean black and white home, so did not want anything outstanding in it. The downstairs bathroom around the corner has a beautiful red and black tile, setting of the red and black theme in there.

and it is so emtpy....cos we built it to sell and this was upon completion, nobody moved in yet.

Fan of kitchens myself. Used to be a chef. Just designing one now to add to the back of our town house.

There's a small chest freezer in one of blackgang's photo's, anyone know where I can buy one in BKK? I've been looking around for a while, and can't seem to find any for sale.
One thing I've noticed that's missing from this thread is photo's of wives/girlfriends chained to the kitchen sink's

Makro carries a variety of chiller/cooler/freezer units. Depending on what is in stock at the moment. They usually have some add sheets of all the varying styles available from the manufacturer which is in Bangkok. Prolly they could order if necessary.

Ah yes.. Where all the magic happens, actually a lot of it happens outside on on the grill as well. If I had an oven I could make anything, but my microwave is a wave grill combo so I can do a few things in that..

The kitchen is just an area where the kitchen should be, but everything in it is stand-alone.

Nice kitchen Norton. Very clean, no clutter or nick nacks to get in the way, all the necesary appliances, cabinets are a nice rich looking dark wood, plant on the kitchen table is a nice feature and a nice view to the outside. Very nice.

Only because I asked the missus to get all the "clutter" off the counter top before I took the pics.

I'll have to retract the green if I ever see a post with all the clutter in it. Call it a pet peve I don't care but little stupid nic nacks and clutter is needless. It detracts fron the true beauty of the kitchen and has no functionality. Anyway, the missus id a good job with the cleaning up.

Only a couple of things had to be removed. Mainly cooking oil bottles and a few spice tins. Agree about needless clutter. With all the drawers, cabinets and such never could figure out why things can't be stashed properly away.

No matter. To each his own. Upside is everything is readily at hand. At least until the missus moves it. She is banned from my tool room BTW.
