Beans on Toast

Fok all this arty farty food, here is some real nosh and it's so easy even Bad Puppy can make it.

Take a can of beans and gently spoon its contents into a saucepan.

Next, take some white bread and cut it to a thickness of exactly 1.56cm

Now, gently cook the beans to a temperature of 64C.

Next, toast the bread under a grill. Do not use a toaster. Then spread with unsalted butter chilled to exactly 16.8C.

Spoon the cooked beans onto the toast. Do not dollop them out of the pan!

And "Voila" the perfect baked beans on toast!

Perfect!!!!!

And for any of you posh you can make it extra special by adding cheese or some sos or sommit.

I've just had some for me tea.

Beans and toast is sorta like corn and pizza. Do you Brits really eat that stuff? And for breakfast?? That is what us Yanks serve to the less, emmm less fortunate.

Beans on toast is the kind of meal that you eat when you are poor and can't really be fooked to steal decent food from the neighbours.

But, to be truthful, I look forward to it more than most meals.

You can always use the now infamous chat up line from this guy....

Next you're up here we'll go to Mad Dogs for breakfast, Full English they call it, (how'd I know?) bacon, sausage, ham, beans, taters, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast with butter and marmalade, coffee/tea and juice. It was 120 baht might be 130 now..
You guys just eat a breakfast like that and go back to bed or what?

Ayams beans are fine, but you have to get the unsweetened ones with the blue stripe as the normal ones are suited to Thai taste.

Yep, you can get used to the sweet ones, but the blue stripe ones are nearer to the beans from home.

The stripe is on the can rather than the beans. Can be bought in Tesco, Big C and Tops. A lot of places have the sweet ones.

Or you could pay 80 baht or more for a can of Heinz
