Well, chiz cha cheason choo chee cholly.

Haven't made spring rolls in prolly 20 years. And it showed. It all came back after a few wrong uns.


Picked up TNY, and after 3 months of making a point of not giving or buying her anything, decided to break the Beijing duck and chucked a Chinese style dress in the shopping trolley. She's as Chinese as I am Italian (3 grandparents), so it's the least I could do, I suppose. Shrimp, chopped to chunks, grated ginger, minced garl-o, ripped corriand-o, grated bugs bunny, cut rice noodles (which is perhaps unlucky to do?) and a dash-o soy sauce.



While she tried on my new year gift.






The mixed filling looks nicer when cooked.
