Maybe along the same lines, whilst working in Angola, also on rotation was a friend of mine who lived in Cape Town, South Africa. Whenever he returned from there, he would bring some vacuum packed Ostrich meat. Really tasty on a bbq, only needs a few seconds each side, and is almost like a very fine fillet steak.

A nice 1.4kg hunk of the badboys.
Might split 'em in half and do one dry rub, one wet.![]()
