Yes, they have goat meat here. And game meat, Buffalo, kudu, wart hog etc.

We've been known to have Lays sour cream and onion as a side. Leaves more room for burger. Which is rarely a bad thing. :)

I made the mistake of spreading the coals over the Weber, and then the fat from the steak kept causing flare ups. The meal was still good, I just had to keep moving the steak around so they wouldn’t burn on the outside.

Tell you what BLD its too hot for me to barbecue now. Last two times I just said fuck it and used my oven instead. 38 at 6:40 as I am typing this. Big fans on high just blow hot air around right now. Its residual, not had a cool day in over 3 weeks.

Beef marinade was declared a winner by FF. Soy sauce, olive oil, honey, vinegar, garlic and pepper.

It was also a surf n turf braii day in Africa.
Start with some beef short ribs in seasoning of choice and grill with an indirect heat for an hour.

Then place then inside a baking tray, smother in bbq sauce, cover and cook for another 3 1/2 hours.

After that, remove cover and cook for final hour.
meanwhile prepare a few kilos of crayfish and garlic butter sauce.
then throw a few shrimps on the barbie…
