I do not typically like cheese or onions on my burgers. However I would have liked some hickory smoked bacon but none was available.

Well it depends a lot on the cheese. In the states I used to put a slice of Tillamook sharp cheddar but around these parts not gonna happen. As for onions, they can overtake a meal unless a nice purple one.

So I do my Burgers as pictured.

And the onions, and beetroot! Seriously though, it looks nicely cooked and if that's how you like your burgers it's perfect.

^Stumpy's more than proved he knows enough about decent meat to not buy rubbish I think. Hat's off to the guys who make their own patties from scratch too, but there's no shame in having some pre-mades at home either in case things go Pete Tong

of course and i wasn't suggesting otherwise, its just that only a retard with the taste buds of an abbo licking a camels arse would think you need all that additional shrubbery, or a jock

For me... a bacon cheeseburger with mayo, mustard, pickles and onions is perfect. I'm not a fan of ketchup on burgers, especially the over sweet stuff here.

I had the double cheese burger and besides it being too tall to eat without cutting it up my only real issue was they added spicy tomato sauce which pissed me off a bit as i'm chilied out and was looking forward to some plain food. I'll post up pics at some point with others of the trip.
Bigger Burger in Pakchong, I presume. I've had the Aussie rib-eye and the beef burger there. OK for Thailand, I suppose.

I like their sign on the wall.

For whatever reasons it's got to be BBQ sauce on burgers for me but again, there's really no right or wrong.

A nice smoky, savory, peppery bbq is my second choice.

Someone mentioned purchasing buns at Makro. Nothing wrong with them. I have purchased them before.

However, if you would like a tastier bun visit Vamazaki while in Thailand. They sell Hawaiian Buns. They are not always on the shelf and can be difficult to get. They don’t last long on the shelves.

I picked up the complete burger kit at Makro yesterday. I was supposed to assemble this little lot today but I just haven't been up to it.

    80/20 medium rare.

Then either the simple standard mayo, lettuce, beef tomato, onion, pickles, mustard and some ketchup.

Or BBQ bacon cheese with onion and bbq sauce.
