I like to stop for a maccas on the way home from Miss Lusty Luzon's as I do not eat maccas very often so it is a rare treat.
Anyways I pulled into her local franchise after departing her gaff about 1am and all was quiet. I ordered a big mac and paid and pulled up to the drive-in hatch
I was waiting for about 3 minutes when the car behind me decided that he had been waiting too long so he blasted his horn.
I thought it was bit odd. There was nobody at the window at the time. But a minute later the server walked past and peered out the hatch without opening it.
I waited a further 8 minutes before the humble big mac duly arrived.
I drove round the corner and opened it and savoured the unique aroma...
...before biting into an almost cold big mac.
Normally when you wait that means they are making it fresh so it is usually piping.
I thought the long wait was puzzling too, when the place was deserted.
Then I clicked that the server blokey must have thought it was me blasting my horn and decided that I needed to wait an extra 8 minutes and receive a cold burger for my impatience.
Fair enough I reckon.
I would probably do the same thing if I was a burger flipper being harrassed by impatient late-night probably drunk customers.
I hope there was nothing worse than saliva in it too by way of burger flippers misdirected revenge.
I might give maccas a miss for a while.
