I cannot remember ever having bought soup spoons. I used to possess a couple of Cathay Pacific soup spoons, they were seldom used and one eventually became a scoop to remove poo from the cage of my son's pet Leopard Gecko. In Thailand I use the Chinese-shaped spoons, which I reckon are ergonomically superior to the traditional Western soup spoon.
