I've just spent an hour trying to upload these photos, but the fucking system kicked me out when I tried to post, so let's try again.

Anyway, as part of my unending quest to decimate my bank account, I spent a week in New York in the summer. Here are a few of the pictures I took of the food and drink I guzzled as well as one or two shots of this wonderful city (it should probably be the other way round, but gluttony and debauchery is the way I roll).

Day 1 and we were picked up from the airport by my wife's cousin and taken to Coney Island (baby) and so it began...

What other country in the world would take an already sugar/fat laden sweet and then deep fry it? A bag of those probably took 10 moon off my life...I loved them and Lou would definitely have given me a thumbs up.

I've always wanted to try these, after seeing them on the telly, but I resisted the urge to eat 150 in 5 minutes.

Would you take a look at me chubby little Oirish hands (no longer alien fingers, Cy) and the $8 half pint I washed my feast down with?

Day 2 and, after a quick stop at the chemist to get 'er indoors chipped by Bill Gates, it was Korean time.

Btw, returning to Coney Island, and because the site is fucking me over, is it just me who sees these flats and immediately thinks of the film Candyman?

Having somehow resisted the urge to do chimek - the best fried chicken in the world by a stretch, but there are only so many calories a man can do in one day - it was time for a pint and a curry.

But when is it not time for a pint and a curry?

I have no pictures of this, so I can only imagine I was 4 or 5 sheets to the wind.
