Now if that is what a real hash brown is, I think I'd like it. As said previously, all I know of "hash brown" is what McD's sell and similar "cakes" sold frozen by Birdseye or Watties....utter rubbish.

I hear ya toslti...but my wife usually makes enough to feed a small army, so there's generally some left over. Add a little flour, seasonings and an egg, mix, then form into patties and fry. Pretty tasty. Never knew it had a name.

Speaking of steaks...You almost have to take out a small loan now to buy a proper thick quality steak. It's outrageous!
