Good to see the bread is improving in the philippines. It used to be this really sugery stuff only. Couldn't even toast it. Love a good sourdough and suspect I would love it even more with bacon in it. Just out of curiosity how much was a loaf?

BLD, it was 430 pesos delivered .... It was a round loaf about 10" across. We ordered it sliced which added 30 pesos. They also do a cheese and jalapeno loaf that is superb.

Here in oz a sourdough loaf costs $7.50 Regular sandwich bread about $2.50 - $3.50.

Faark I've just done an xe currency search 460 pesos is about $12 aussie. I wonder how many locals indulge? $12 buys an awful lot of pandesal
