What do you eat with Chips(fries)

chips have to be well done, ground black pepper, sea salt, tossed in Malt vinegar, depending on mood ketchup or mayo.

    White bread lashing of Butter.

A little ketchup and that's it.

If you have to load your fries with crap to make them tasty, they were low-quality to begin with- the same is true for steaks and pizza.

Christ- Americans tend to be pretty rotund on average due to a shit diet and huge portions, but it's no wonder you Limeys are the 'fat men of Europe'.

It's actually a Scottish delicacy. Perhaps that explains why most would be happy for them to have their independence.

I wouldn't call it a delicacy either as there's nothing delicate about it.
    It's just a heart-attack waiting to happen.

A good burger begs for french fries as does a club sandwich.

BLT's are another that require chips.

I only get back to the states about once every three years. But when I do one of the first things I indulge in is an order of chilli cheese fries. I reckon once every 3 years aint gonna kill me.

with thickly sliced ham and a couple of fried eggs, yolks slightly runny, some salt and black pepper, a slice of hot buttered white toast, and a mug of steaming hot english breakfast tea, milk and no sugar, with the daily telegraph sports section on the table and bbc radio 4 playing in the background.

sometimes you need to mop up the egg, and chips dont have the same absorbency as bread.

Is it a Kraft cheese I spot on top of your chips?
Needs some grated strong English or Scottish cheddar & lots of it.
