    Late Sunday Morning ABF

Kids are asleep the wife is out exercising and I have been scrounging through the refrigerator. Came up with bacon, Dixie sausage, potatoes, an onion and a red bell pepper. Decided to put them to use. So about 11:30 we will have fried eggs for the wife and I, a cheese omelette for the kids and sides of home fries, done in the oven, bacon, sausage, toast and jam.

The potatoes had been cooked lightly in the microwave,

The meat, nice bacon and Dixie Sausages, Thai German meats are our choice for brekky.

Now I have diced the potatoes, onions, and bell, drizzled with olive oil and added cracked black pepper, seasoning salt, and a bit of Italian seasoning. Going down soon to put them into the oven.

I now have about an hour until breakfast. The potatoes take about 45 minutes covered for the first half hour at 170, the uncovered and raised up under the broiler for the last 15 minutes. By doing them in the oven you reduce the oil, and free up the stove for cooking omelettes, eggs, bacon and sausage. Much more to come.

not now... i think its not so good to put the onions to the potatoes, as the potatoes need longer in the oven, and the onions will get black...

if oyu spread the potatoes on a baking sheet, and the onions there, too, but separated, you can take them out earlier, and the potatoes are baked from all sides...

    sorry, didnt see this... (dementia)...

i think, its better to add salt later, as it binds with water...
    but not sure, when covered...

Can I ask how much you weigh AO?

If ate regularly like what you post, I would be as big as one of those guys you see on TV that has to be cut out of their house and removed on the forks of a lift!

A mild, but tasty sausage usually without sage seasoning.

145 lbs??? I weighed 145 lbs. in 7th grade. I hate a guy that eats what he wants and stays thin when I have to starve myself to prevent growing man boobs and a simulated baby bump.

From now on AO, expect nothing but s string of reds from me!

the potato recipe looks good but I'm a bit adverse to eggs, went down to Makro and got some decent potatoes and also picked up these little beautys.

Good mushrooms so will work up a good mush room recipe and present it for the enjoyments of the lads.
