This is interesting - Australia has many prisons, of course. Canada has what looks like a couple of hundred, but China only has four, all in Beijing. Singapore has 6. What happens to criminals in China? Execution on the spot?

And Yes!
This smartarse has been there - when they first started to overcrowd it with African asylum seekers in 1998 - went there for the UNHCR to check the fire safety for their insurers .
Prison was a bloody horrible place but the beaches and the resort facilities in the main town were ok !
City walls were magnificent and virtually complete
