Apart from the double pricing thai/falang, -a bit crafty on the gate, the admission charges for thais were in thai numericals- a pretty good day out. (Falang visiting with a thai was charged less than a falang on their own)
Whilst there weren't any bears dancing on hot coals, there were orang-utangs in bikinis, elephants playing football, and cowboy stunt shows - all natural stuff like that.
You could either drive your car through the safari bit or take a bus. Plenty of antelope, Marabou Storks and Lions etc.
For a Thai Zoo (which it is really, just a bit better) the animal welfare was pretty good compared to other grim places such as IMO Si Racha Tiger park.
