More of them would be nice, my point is they are already 50% owned by the government and seem to be coining it in Laos. they have the whole country decked out in beerlao signs banners T shirts etc, its excessively advertised, they have brewery capacity enough for export but there is no way the thais want to compete with beerlao even now when they have just been accepted into the WTO, Beerlao is definately popular in the western countries that it gets exported to but the price makes it a bit of a novelty and boutique beer for the averidge punter.Tiger beer are making a big push in Laos lately and are also aggressive advertisers but the fact of the matter is Beerlao is a better product, Having said that i have been known to succumb to pressure to drink a Tiger when the sales girl is smokin hot,
