Pattaya’s first St Patrick’s Day Parade announced
Pattaya will be holding its first St. Patrick’s Day parade on 17th March.
At a press conference on Thursday at the Father Ray Foundation, the parade was announced to the gathered media who were told that the parade will take place along Pattaya Beach Road and the money raised at the event will go to the Fountain of Life and Father Ray Foundation.
With a strong Irish ex-pat community and an abundance of Irish-themed bars around Pattaya, organizers believe the time is right to organize the event which will mirror similar parades in cities such as Dublin, New York, Belfast, London and Sydney.
The parade will begin at 1.30pm in front of Pattaya Beach Soi 4 and will finish in front of the Alcazar Theater on Pattaya Second Road.
To register a float it will cost 5,000 Baht and for more information please contact Derrick at the Freedrop Bar on 087 613 5797.
