Koh Larn Haad Ta Yai Beach

Koh Larn is a 7 km ferry ride from Bali Hai Pier in South Pattaya, the ferry will take you to Na Ban, Ta Yai Beach is the nearest beach to walk to, as it is mainly dirt track you either have to walk there, take a motorbike there, or if your rich you can get a speedboat to there, me, I walked it is about a 1 kilometer walk so aint too bad, due to most people being lazy the beach is pretty much deserted, the beach is nice soft white sand, the water is nice and clear, one main Thai restaurant that also sells beer.

Not sure if this place is for rent or not, probably is but Koh Larn does seem to cater for the more spendy tourists.

I tried to get the songthaew drivers at Ta Waen beach to take to this beach. They insisted that it doesn't have any restaurants, and told me that I had to wait an hour for the songthaew to fill up. Must be a mafia deal.

Well it was probably because they can't drive all the way to the beach, plus nobody really knows about this beach as it isn't advertised so most people don't ask to go there.

But it was listed on their price sheet. Maybe they were just feeling frisky that day.
