    Visanu appointed Chief Justice

Visanu Krue-ngam, former deputy prime minister and cabinet secretary-general in the Thaksin Shinawatra government, has been appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Administrative Court, effective from Oct 1.

Mr Visanu's apointment was announced in a royal command, countersigned by Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.

He served as cabinet secretary-general from 1993 to 2003 in the Thaksin and previous governments.

He was appointed deputy prime minister in the Thaksin government for the first time on Oct 3, 2003 and re-appointed deputy prime minister on March 11, 2005. He resigned his last cabinet post on June 9, 2006.

Before becoming an Aministrative Court judge, he was a law lecturer of Thammasat University.

Good news and helps to rebalance the tampered judiciary put in place by the junta amart proxy.

Proper justice should now ensue and all convictions under the illegal abisit courts and judiciary must be quite properly set aside and democratic judgements made.

Great that this is a 35 year appointment for Mr Visanu.
