Two men were killed outside a Karaoke Bar on Tuesday Morning over an altercation which culminated in one of the victims stepping on the foot of a customer inside the bar which led to the fatal shooting.
Police Colonel Nantawoot, Chief of Pattaya Police joined other senior officers outside the bar located on Pattaya Third Road where the bodies of Khun Bart aged 22 and Khun Natapong aged 20 were lying in the street.
Both men had been shot in the head and were pronounced dead-at-the-scene.
A third male aged only 16 escaped the shooters and provided Police with vital evidence as to the identity of the attackers and the reasons behind the shooting.
He revealed that the three were inside the Audition Pub, further up Pattaya Third Road and were enjoying themselves when one of the victims stepped on the foot of another customer.
This created a major disturbance inside the bar which spilled onto the street.
The two victims and their 16 year old colleague attempted to leave on their motorbike but were followed by 10 men, some armed with guns, who caught up and shot dead Khun Bart and Khun Natapong.
Police are also exploring another version of the story provided by staff at the Pub and are already in a position to issue an arrest warrant for one man, Khun Ankru aged 23, based on witness statements.
In a twist, the Audition Pub owner is set to be arrested and charged with operating outside of his license conditions and opening after hours.
