Voting in the 2011 general election ended at 3pm.
Early results from exit polls indicated a likely sweeping victory for Pheu Thai.
^^
Very significant. If that's confirmed, it's effectively a collapse of BJT's vote - and makes them close to irrelevant as a Dem consortium partner..... never mind that the Dems' vote has also shrunk.
it's those who do the counting that is important, not those who do the voting
Plenty of red cards to be handed out yet.
I am sure PT will also be leading in that departmentOriginally Posted by Gerbil
Thaksin's certainly in play.
More importantly it seems to indicate to me that the sway local bigwigs hold over voting patterns has diminished.Originally Posted by SteveCM

Is that because people can't count in general? Butters you must be getting worried. Are you going to make money off of this situation in the end?it's those who do the counting that is important, not those who do the voting
She only needs 251 for a majority?
and you find this a good thing ? a known authoritarian manipulative fascist to lead the lambs to the slaughterhouse ?Originally Posted by sabang

If the results (yes - yet to be confirmed ) were closer, the red cards would be more of an issue. Priority #1 of Thai judicial decision-making: "Which way is the political wind blowing"?
I don't see the EC going against this gale force.....
Only 35 seats for all the smaller parties combined.
Neat.
A female PM
In Thailand Wow!
hopefully, the system will work and will stop PT from winning an overall majority
If confirmed there will be no need for concensus politicsOriginally Posted by Takeovers
