Thread: Jomtien - Drug Problems in front of View Talay Condo

The Tourist Police have received daily complaints from tourists that drug dealers and addicts usually hang around in front of a View Talay Condo in Jomtien for illegal purposes so put together a team of officers to take care of this matter.


On 7th December at 10 pm the police team went to inspect the area and found two Thai women wondering around the entrance to this View Talay Condo who acted suspicious as soon as they saw the police.
Seeing this, the police approached to ask to make a search. They found 10 yaba tablets on Mrs. Tianthong, aged 24, and another 10 tablets on the other lady; Miss Samai, aged 30.
Both were taken to Dongtan Sub-station for questioning. The two confessed to buying the drugs from a Thai man in Ban Ampher Sub-district for 300 Baht per tablet and brought them to Pattaya to smoke with their friends at the area where they were just arrested from.
Both were charged and further proceedings will be made on them for possession of class 1 drugs.
