I agree with you that the murderer does not have to be Thai.

As Latindancer pointed out elsewhere it is noteworthy they haven't produced the "Portugese guy" who escorted the Belanger sisters to their rooms. Surely the Thais know who this is, or have narrowed it down, right? Immigration takes pictures of everyone arriving and I think they know when he flew out.
I was wondering about that Portugese man myself. Even if he had left the Country, one would expect Portugal would assist in finding him for questioning, and any unwillingness to be questioned would likely indicate guilt. Difficult to determine if that's a failure by the police, or simply the usual inability of the Thai media to provide intelligent follow-ups on any story.

We are on the same page on the title This thread was started last year when the thread about CM deaths was labelled food poisoning.
I've been advocating serial compound poisoner since May 09 deaths, time, it happened to me in fact, Samet 2005. Horrid relentless vomiting that passed ( for me ) in 36 hours. I had not been drinking and was in good health and had a real nurse practioner , my sister attending to me.
So, also politely , please please .

this thread is titled vomiting deaths deliberately that's the main, common symptom and is unusual that diarhea is absent. On th eother thread I mentioned common substances that young women use like ibupfofren and birth control. could there be tainted pills?

You know this is really a wild idea, so please I am not floating it too seriously , really but as one can get drunk on tampon soaked in liquor, so same for other drugs. Girls gone, too wild?
But then too no reason a poisoner couldn't use that either . Maybe randomly at the local shops, too.

    Mmmm

to Git , diarhea present this time, for sure or third hand observation and or assupmption on a third tired spokeswoman's part? ??? I w ish we had the report- so far.

You made this same claim in the "Canadian sisters found dead" thread and I posted extensive info showing feces was found.

https://teakdoor.com/thailand-and-asi...ml#post2161694 (Phi Phi : Canadian sisters found dead in Thai resort)

A lot of feces was found in room of Belanger sisters. Not just some feces but "a large quantity"

"Dr Pornthep Siriwanarangsan, head of the Disease Control Department, said the initial investigation in the room found a large quantity of vomit and faeces".

vomiting and feces correlate with the following poisons: organophosphates, carbamates, arsenic, fluoride, cyanide, phosphides.

"The Disease Control Department suspects the two holidaying Canadian sisters found dead in mysterious circumstances in a hotel room on Koh Phi Phi succumbed to a "toxic substance".

“However, department experts have not yet identified the deadly substance, department chief Phonthep Siriwanarangsan said yesterday.
“He based his poisoning assumption on observations of the physical condition of the dead bodies.
“Dr Phonthep ruled out the possibility that the tourists died from either bacterial or viral infections.
“An initial examination of their bodies found bleeding under their nails, in the whites of their eyes and in their cheeks”.

OK GiT Thanks for that it seems to be sourced well enough. The symptoms as reported by that one person are different from prior cases, vastly different . So different scenario, or just different compound?

It seems a straightforward conclusion that if vomiting and shitting occur then it was not an inhaled poison, but something ingested by mouth.

This whole phenomenon gets more curious. Lets hope the autopsy on the one girl yields better results than the ones here.

    I just sent a PM to G.I.T. He's going to have a FIT !

It does seem odd that so many pretty young women have died, but it could also simply be the often pathetically poor hygiene here in Asia.

Hygiene is important in Asian culture. I just think it is the first time these kind of women have ever ventured out of their sheltered life. They are immune to nothing. Diffrent air, diffrent water diffrent food, diffrent ppl , diffrent everything.

Serial killer talk is just pathetic

Perhaps you're too young to remember Charles Sobhraj. Looking up his crimes on Google is one thing, but if you were around at the time, the reality was rather sobering.

And using a play out of the Thai playbook, an idiot says:

A forensic investigator of Khanh Hoa province’s police department, who declined to be named, believes that drinking too much wine might have led to the deaths of the two foreign visitors to Nha Trang

No, being seen to be clean is quite important.

I've been in hospital twice now in two months, both cases confirmed as "you falang eat something wrong", try to be as careful as possible, but been hit twice now. It's not only the food that makes you sick, think about cross contamination, using a slice of a tree as cutting board for all sorts of food. Not cleaned properly and FP is easy to get. I've worked as a chef as well, I can tell you that FP from meat or fish are two different things, meat normally goes slowly, can take a day or so before you get real ill and spent most of the time on the toilet, stuff coming out on both sides of the body. Eat fish that has gone off, you'll get sick almost instantly, only throwing up(violently) because the stuff doesn't even have time to leave your stomach downwards. You will most likely develop a rash as well. FP from fish is very, very dangerous.
If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough.

You're not wrong there, Wiz. As a chef you will be aware that in Oz, cutting boards are colour-coded and one used for meat or fish is not allowed, by hygiene regulations, to be used for vegetables. Whereas here, I doubt if they do that in local restaurants. Though I'm sure in large hotel kitchens they separate the chopping boards.
As a complete vegetarian I'm horrified at the possibility of my meal being prepared on a chopping board used for dead bodies, then only quickly sauteed (as they do here in LOS). The bacterial mixture is completely different. I prefer vego restaurants.
If this was food poisoning though, would this girl still have suffered respiratory failure ?

Indeed. Most common way of spreading infectious disease is attributed to unsanitary human handling of food. In short unwashed hands. Some nasty one's which could be greatly reduced if handlers wash hands regularly. Noroviruses, common cold and influenza, Hepatitis A to name but a few.

Socal has revealed his perceptual abilities to be in need of a tuneup.

The fact is Thai people hardly EVER wash their hands, much less with soap and water, much less with soap and hot water.

and the truly amazing thing is they often use their bare hand, by itself, with no toilet paper, to wipe themselves after they defecate.

A word of advice: stay away from the soft spring rolls--because they haven't been cooked and the so-called 'chef' has stuck his dirty fingers and fingernails all over and in that little delicacy while he rolls and kneeds it. This goes for Thai restaurants run by Thais in Western countries, too. I know for a fact that kitchen help and waitresses don't wash their hands in some or many of these Thai-run 'nice-looking' restaurants in the West.

generally, thais seem to e fairly clean about their bodies (they often wash their hands before eating the stuff the guys who didn't wash their hands prepared for them)

food hygiene however, is a totally different thing altogether- they either don't fukkn care or they are totally fukkn clueless!

the cutting board thing is a big one, and the fact that flies sitting all over the food somehow doesn't seem to bother them at all, even in the "restaurants" that have been issued that silly "clean food "etc endorsement from the authorities.

    so..........to sum it all up:

i agree with socal that perhaps the thais know how to shit.
they know fukkall about how to prepare hygienic food though

or if you wish you could combine both sentences and come up with:
    "the thais know SHIT!

...which is what most of us here figured out a long time ago, anyway!!
