Thailand is only a quasi military dictatorship at this stage. Though an oligarchical dictatorship of sorts masquerading under the pretense of a democracy as long as the military can keep the majority of the populace subdued.

If the current trend of military oppression continues, the next step could well be a full on military dictatorship when you know who exits the stage.
