Pattaya - BLACK DRUG DEALER LEAPS FROM ROOF TO ESCAPE ARREST

BLACK DRUG DEALER LEAPS FROM ROOF TO ESCAPE ARREST IN PATTAYA

After a tip off about a proposed drugs delivery ,on 8 June 2009, a black footballer who was also a dealer was apprehended by police, but he leapt off the roof of a four-storey building in a bid to escape. The people to whom the drugs were being delivered were caught in possession and were arrested.

At 9.00pm, on 8 June 2009, Pol.Lt.Col. Sutham Chowsrithong, Pattaya Deputy Superintendent, received a tip off that a foreign man would be delivering some Yah Ice to a room with no number in the New Lengee Building, Soi 17, near Sophon Market, Pattaya Third Road. He then ordered Pol.Mjr. Apichanun Wattana Warangkul and his team to attempt to stop the transaction and apprehend those involved.

At the 4-storey building, police saw a black man carrying a shoulder bag, walking up to the second floor. A police officer produced his ID Card and asked to search the man’s bag. The black man was taken completely by surprise and ran up to the fourth floor roof-deck. With the police hot in pursuit, the man then just leapt off the roof and plummeted to the ground. He was examined and was found to be suffering from a head wound, and scratched legs, with a few wounds about his body.

Police searched the man who was identified as Mr. Bongani Khumallo, [28], from the Republic of Zimbabwe. In his bag, police found 4 bags of Yah Ice, weighing 4 grams, an Irish FC football ID card and many other documents. The man was then taken to Banglamung Hospital.

In the room that the drug dealer had been going to, police found three Thai women: Miss Narumon Kunartsri, [27], the room owner, from Roi-Et, Miss Chonthicha Hongsawat, [27] from Panusnikom, Chonburi and Miss Suppanet Choomhirun, [29], from Cha-Cherng Sao, with a 1 gram bag of Yah Ice. Police took them all to the police station and checked their urine and all tested positive, displaying the color purple in it.

Miss. Narumon confessed that she had ordered 5 bags of Yah Ice from Mr.Bongani Khumallo, who was a Bangkok resident. She said she had been introduced to Mr.Bongani Khumallo by another foreign friend recently. Miss. Narumon said she had, in turn, been supplying the drug to bar girls in Pattaya and it gave her more money than working. The other two women in her room were her customers, who had been waiting for their goods.

Pol.Lt.Col. Sutham said they would investigate Khumallo when he recovered sufficiently. The police also revealed that Khumallo, a soccer player, had been operating this business for quite sometime. Most of his customers were people in Bangkok and Pattaya.

The police said they would do their utmost to rid the country of all these foreign drug dealers.

Why the reference to him being 'black'? Anybody might think that the title has a racist connotation to it.

Because he is black. You farang no understand Thai.

He was telling me about how rude the fuckers at Nong Khai immigration were to him, reckons they treated him like shit.
Without expertise like his here these wankers would be sitting in the dark at 6.30pm everyday. Its not like they have a fucking clue how to do shit themselves, their arrogance is only exceeded by their ignorance.
All hail the gentleman of color who has delivered us from the darkness! His company should have been more sensitive and sent a white guy.

Actually that has given me a great idea on how to take Thai racism one step further from now on all news reports on here about Thais should mention whether they are dark or light skinned Thais ie "Light skinned Thai man marrys medium colored skin twins".

Thais are very touchy about the color of their skin.My missus always slaps on the factor 50,not want skin go color black,or same snake.
Surely the only solution to the crime problem in Thailand is to ban all falang from entering the Kingdom.
There was an interview with the leader of the yellow shirts on radio 4 about a month ago.
His message was if we want to strike and close the airport up to us,we don't really want you bloody foreigners in our country anyway.

I think "black" was meant to indicate he was "negro" (AKA foreigner) rather than a dark skinned Thai.

Thais are pretty racist among themselves when it comes to skin colour, but "black" unmistakably means a foreigner to Thais, IMHO.

when they talk about a dark skinned person they describe them as having: "pew dam"

when they talk about a black person, eg negro or black african person, they say: "dum-dum"

please note that i did not make this up and nor did i have anything to do with teaching the thais to call them "dumdums"!

There a few black Africans where we live dealing drugs. Group of residents went to the Police to complain but it still goes on barring the odd few who do get picked up. Also they work in the complex selling clothes, must be against their visa conditions but again nothing is done. Sounds like a slum I know but it's actually quite nice, i'm afraid the Africans are not popular though and are seen as dragging the place down. Only very fat/ugly Thai women seem to have much to do with them in the romance dept.

That's an old one it's been Darlie for a long time. You can still get Blackman mops of course, never would allow that in UK, nor those strange black models a bit like garden gnomes that are always in pairs, apparently they are for good luck.
