Watching the BBC and CNN lately in the wake of London's bombings I've been irritated by the world leaders and the special guests who have been on screen non-stop since the first blasts.

I don't think I would be the only person who is fed up with the rhetoric spouted by, in particular, Blair but all the experts and the hi-powered investigative journalists.
"We will not be threatened. England will soldier on. We faced the Blitz Mohammed, bring it on. We will bring the terrorists to justice. blahdy blahdy blah!"
I'm not buying it!
Bush has made more empty promises than any other leader in history.

I started to muse..........could this be the opportunity for a new ideology, new politics to emerge?
Could a party whose leader speaks about finding the way to stop terrorism instead of using all the militrary might in the world to exterminate an idea, not an army, find a more receptive ear in the population.
I can see a completely new political theme emerge that will discuss with terrorists how to resolve issues and roll back some of the imperialistic policies of the past.

I don't believe that any amount of guns and bombs are going to stop what is an outrageous situation where young Muslims are prepared to kill themselves. Young Muslims don't want to kill themselves. So what are they trying to force the west into?
Anybody know for sure?

All the best security systems in the world can't stop a madman with a bomb. Yet that's all the likes of Bush and Blair can offer.
They appeal to that 'British resolve', 'stiff upper lip' and 'White cliffs of Dover' while never actually solving the problem.
