I've read googling once at forbes site Toxin is listed fortune number 18 in Asia...

few month ago it was 4'000'000'000 yes if i remember well 4 billion US dollars

This figure with his new sales and probably some tax returns from Vat of selling things abroad and so on, has changed to the higher again...

If half the money accumulated would be redistributed to the Thai society ( no not to yourself ! ) where would you advise the government to put it ?

Reduce tax on cheese and kids toys, then maybe introduce a nuclear defence program and then see how it goes from there.

That of course has been his plan all along

He'll spend a bit on the up-coming election which will put him back in power for another stretch and he's considered to have paid his debt to society

But, lets hope enough Thais have woken up to his cunning plan and are able to thwart it at the last minunte

Reduce tax on foriegn imports like fine wines and foods so that even the poor Thais can live in the luxury we are accostomed to

oh, and maybe chuck some of the dosh into education

You noted Thaksin's theft of 10 million USD worth of gear from a foreign business partner.

I've heard of this before, but I can't find anything on google.

Can you or anyone lead me to the info. on the ruling?

^ interestingly I heard on the grape-vine that he was after Chang beer (because he thought it had real international potential

) but had been told, not so politely to get ....

My informant led me to believe that is what started this whole mess (e.g. his sale of Shin to raise the funds, the demos outside the SEC, etc.) and that all this comes down to a spat between two businessmen.

I think he should get an English master brewer over and start producing some real beer.

If he did that and sold it cheap, I wouldn't give a toss what he did with the rest of it.

googling again i came to a nation article telling he made 73 billion Thb profit from his last sales Shin story...

Chamlong or so, asked himto release someof this wealth and he may give up a third like 26 Billion thb for the poor of Thailand...

May be he knows what poors need and allready is investing there now...

They have the Election process on the telle right now and this will be how toxin gives money to the poor. He'll just buy his way into the office.
