CCTV Captures Group of Angry Teenagers Assaulting Motorcycle Repair Shop Owner

At 1:00 p.m. on May 13th, 2025, Police Lieutenant Colonel Pakorn Muensi-khiao, Deputy Inspector of Banglamung Police Station, Chonburi Province, received a report of a group of teenagers assaulting the owner of a motorcycle repair shop in Soi Khao Noi, near the railway. Patrol officers were immediately dispatched to the scene.

At the location, Mr. Woramet Nilket, 27, the shop owner, was found injured with wounds to his head and bruises on his body. The shop showed signs of a struggle, with tools and items scattered and damaged. The group of assailants had fled before the police arrived.

Mr. Woramet told The Pattaya News that the incident stemmed from the evening of May 12th, when two teenagers pushed a motorcycle to his shop, which was already closed. He allowed them to leave the bike for inspection the next day. In the morning, the bike’s owner called to inquire about the repair, and Mr. Woramet explained the shop was not yet open. The owner then retrieved the bike to repair it at a nearby shop. When Mr. Woramet requested a 100-baht parking fee, the owner refused, leading to a verbal argument.

Later, around 10 teenagers, including the bike’s owner, stormed the shop and collectively assaulted Mr. Woramet, causing his injuries. Fortunately, CCTV cameras recorded the entire incident.

Preliminary police investigation of the CCTV footage identified approximately 10 male and female teenagers as the suspects, providing key evidence for legal action. The police advised the victim to file a formal complaint at Banglamung Police Station to pursue the suspects and proceed with legal action.

Reporters from The Pattaya News later obtained CCTV footage from the motorcycle repair shop. At 10:39 p.m. on May 12, a teenager wearing a white shirt was seen pushing a motorcycle to the shop’s entrance and speaking with the shop owner’s girlfriend, as the shop was closed at the time.

Another motorcycle then arrived to pick up the teenager, and they left. On May 13th at 1:09 p.m., the same teenager in the white shirt returned with a group to assault the shop owner, seeking revenge over the prior dispute regarding the unrepaired motorcycle and the parking fee.

Mind you, I understand the anger with the surprise 100baht ‘parking fee’, although I don’t condone the response.
