Fifteen street vendors operating sidecar motorcycles were fined and warned after causing traffic congestion along Pattaya Beach Road on April 17th.


On April 17th, local reporters reported that Pattaya traffic police cracked down on sidecar motorcycles selling goods along Pattaya Beach Road. These vehicles were found parked in a manner that obstructed traffic flow.


Authorities arrested 15 street vendors operating from sidecars. 13 of them were found selling water guns and 2 selling fried meatballs. Each was fined 200 baht for operating a vehicle with incomplete control components or equipment.

The vendors were also given warnings and strictly instructed not to park and sell along the beachfront, as it causes traffic congestion and inconvenience to residents and tourists. Authorities stated that similar operations will continue to address the ongoing traffic issues.
