At 9:30 AM on April 5th, Na Jomtien Police received a report of a fire at a private residence located within a resort project. Upon receiving the alert, officers quickly coordinated with the Na Jomtien Fire Department, which dispatched three fire trucks and personnel to the scene.

The fire occurred at a three-story house that was undergoing renovations. Flames and thick smoke were seen billowing from the ground floor. Firefighters worked for over 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control. The interior of the house sustained extensive damage.

Authorities were able to apprehend Mr. Sinchai, 57, who reportedly admitted to setting the fire. According to Mr. Chaloem, a 60-year-old security guard, Mr. Sinchai worked as a renovation contractor and became angry with the property owner, who allegedly failed to pay him for his work.

Frustrated, Mr. Sinchai reportedly threw a brick at a glass window and kicked it, injuring his leg in the process. He then entered the property and set the fire before calmly walking out and surrendering to the police.
