A 56-year-old Thai man was arrested in Banglamung with 1,800 methamphetamine pills and crystal meth.


On January 7th, Banglamung police arrested Mr. Amnuay Uean-amnuay, 56. The authorities seized 1,800 methamphetamine pills and 9.80 grams of crystal methamphetamine, found in a green plastic bag, as well as a white Toyota Altis sedan. The arrest took place at an unnumbered residence in the Takhian Tia area.


This operation stemmed from a December 31st, 2024, investigation during which police arrested a suspect, identified only as Mr. Toi, on drug charges. Officers seized 163 methamphetamine pills and 3.6 grams of crystal methamphetamine from this suspect.

Following this case, investigators discovered that Mr. Toi had been in contact with a Facebook account named “Eed Rupsap Krub Amnuay Uean-amnuay” and had engaged in drug transactions with him. This led to Mr. Amnuay’s arrest.




Police are continuing their investigation to arrest the remaining suspects.
