A heated argument between a 19-year-old and his intoxicated stepfather ended in a stabbing, leaving both injured in Pattaya early this morning.
At 2:06 AM on November 26th, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center received a report of an assault at a residence in Soi Yensabai, Pattaya City. Rescue workers and Pattaya police officers went to the scene, along with reporters from The Pattaya News.
Upon arrival, officers found two injured individuals, identified as Mr. Aditep Thepsupha, 19, who sustained a stab wound to his right leg, and Mr. Jok, who suffered a cut to his left wrist. Both were given first aid by rescue workers and transported to a local hospital. Police then placed Mr. Jok under custody for further legal action.
Ms. A (alias), 18, revealed to The Pattaya News that Mr. Aditep, her boyfriend, had a dispute with her stepfather, who then grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the leg, injuring his own hand in the process. She immediately called the authorities for help.
Ms. Kanitha, 45, the wife of Mr. Jok, stated that her husband and her daughter’s boyfriend had an argument about her husband’s alcohol addiction. Although she did not witness the incident, she heard them exchanging heated words before learning that both had been injured.
