Thread: Uzbek Women Brawl on Pattaya Beach Over Alleged Illegal Sex Work Dispute

A large fight broke out between several Uzbek women on Pattaya Beach over territorial disputes related to alleged illegal sex work early this morning.


On November 6th around 12:10 AM, Pattaya police responded to a brawl near Soi 13/4 on Pattaya Beach Road, after receiving reports of two groups of foreigners, both men and women, engaging in a fight.


At the scene, two groups of Uzbek women were arguing loudly. Police stepped in to stop the argument and found that both sides had sustained minor injuries from previously fighting each other. Officers brought all involved parties to Pattaya Police Station.

However, one large unidentified foreign man from one of the groups resisted the police and was uncooperative. Officers had to forcefully subdue him and handcuff him. Many tourists witnessed the incident, adding to the chaos.


Mr. Kiranuwat, a 42-year-old beach mat lender who captured the brawl on video, explained to local media that he believed the fight stemmed from a territorial dispute. He suspected the Uzbek women of engaging in illegal sex work.


The two groups clashed because allegedly a new Uzbek woman crossed into another group’s territory and stole their customers, Mr. Kiranuwat explained. This infuriated the local group, prompting them to notify a suspected “pimp” from the same nationality to resolve the issue. When they both failed at talking, a fight broke out in full view of numerous tourists at the beach, prompting Mr. Kiranuwat to alert the police.


After questioning all involved parties, including the uncooperative foreign man, at the police station, both groups chose not to press charges. The police photographed them and documented their details before releasing them.


Additionally, local reporters noted that Pattaya Beach is a hotspot for illegal sex work despite regular patrols by police. Numerous Thai and foreign women allegedly occupied spots under palm trees and streetlights along the beach and openly sold sexual services to tourists without fear of legal repercussions.


TPN media notes that solicitation of prostitution is illegal in Thailand, although many groups have been pushing to legalize it. Enforcement, however, can vary. It was unclear if any of the parties would be charged with these crimes.

I thought that Immigration could cancel any visa at any time, at their discretion.

On a couple of forays to pattaya I always found it a bit odd that the Russian girls were openly paraded in a glass fronted upstairs shop front. Very obvious that the bid were paid to turn a blind eye. Never got the urge to shag one. Any td punters let the ferret out for a run? Are they any good ? I considered working in Kazakhstan once.
