Thread: Woman Falls from Pattaya Hotel, Police Investigate Circumstances

At 7:00 AM on October 19th, 2024, Pattaya police received reports of a fatal fall at a hotel in the Nong Prue area.


Rescue teams arrived to find that an unidentified woman, aged around 40-50, had fallen from the fourth floor of the eight-story building. The window on the fourth floor was open, and the victim was discovered at the bottom of the gap between the buildings in a garden area.

The woman suffered a severe skull fracture and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was moved to a back room of the hotel, with the area sealed off for further investigation by police.


Security personnel were questioned about the movement of the body, and CCTV footage is being reviewed. Initially, forensic investigators were called in to determine her identity and the cause of death.

The name of the hotel was withheld pending a further investigation.

What's that about?
Even the Pattaya police are smart enough to deduce that a body falls straight down. Goodness knows, they see enough of them.

The reporter means the movement of the body to a back room - thereby disturbing the scene.
