Local residents in Pattaya are calling for action from police after repeated violent clashes between students from two local schools have left the community in fear.


Local residents in Pattaya’s Soi Nern Plubwan lodged complaints to police following a series of violent clashes between middle school students from a private school and a government school, both located in the same alley.


The residents provided video clips to the police, which show the students engaging in brawls using knives, sticks, and other weapons. The fights typically occurred after school hours, and eyewitnesses also reported seeing some teenagers, who might not be students, join the altercations as well. These teenagers were seen brandishing firearms to intimidate the opposing group, posing fear in the community.

The residents urgently call on relevant law enforcement authorities to address this issue as it is causing great distress in the community.

as with everything these days, it is all about perception, facts have little to do with anything anymore.

in the eyes of the world, thailand is a tourist paradise. beaches, food, temples, smiling locals, good service and save the planet greenery and wildlife. bangkok is an asian mega city, bustling, thriving, a foodie and a shoppers paradise, fabulous hotels, good transport, street food "just like what the brochures tell you" and hua hin is a quiet peaceful seaside town with little in the way of crime and whoring where both tourists and long term foreign residents are welcomed and treated courteously and fairly.

meanwhile, pattaya is a filthy, crime, drug, whore and pervert infested shithole.

once you leave the depressing meathead belt (an area that stretches from south leeds down to sheffield) the northern reaches consist of some of the most beautiful areas of europe and populated with some of the friendliest folk you could possibly wish to meet. the spectacular eastern coast lthat stretches from flamborough up to tyneside consists of sparsely populated beaches, spectacular cliffs, historic monuments, attenboroughtastic wildlike, down to earth towns and of course fresh seafood that makes a lot of the farmed stuff that passes for seafood in thailand seem like chemical waste.

as for pattaya, well, if you are content to live in a hogarthian dystopia cheek by jowl with scabby transvestites, pus filled whores, belching arabs, fat sweaty bobbleheads, corrupt officials, grasping chickenheads, snotty urchins, pot bellied white trash and wheezy old geriatrics all the while breathing in the foul stench of fetid drains and choking on diesel fumes then no one here is surprised.

pattaya is but a toxic distillation of all that is bad in thailand, and however you slice it, you cannot escape that fact.
