More than 400 resorts face chop

The Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry has kicked off inspections which could lead to the demolition of more than 400 resorts for encroaching on public land in Nakhon Ratchasima's Wang Nam Khieo district.

intersting seeing this finally play out.. my wife and i have been talking about it for 30 years.. she is close to some of the people on "both sides" of this. People having their land seized and people pushing for it. Whenever we end up in a conversation about it with locals we know, we just politely smile and keep quiet and grunt and nod.
