Woman falls from train while creating social media content

A 19-year-old woman suffered a head injury after hitting a pole and falling from a moving train at Phatthalung station in Phatthalung province. She was attempting to create content for social media on August 5, according to the State Railway of Thailand (SRT).

Railway officials took the injured passenger to Phatthalung Hospital, where doctors conducted a physical examination and a brain scan. They found a swelling on her head, but her brain appeared normal, allowing her to be discharged.

Although the passenger did not sustain severe injuries this time, because the train had just left the station and was moving slowly, such behaviour is extremely dangerous. It can lead to accidents that may result in permanent disability or even death.

Ekkarat Sri-arayanpong, the chief of the governor's office of the State Railway of Thailand, said that the SRT has conducted an investigation following the release of footage of the incident on August 13th. He also issued a strict warning to all passengers not to emulate this dangerous behaviour.

Moreover, he has directed officials to increase the frequency of safety inspections and urged railway passengers to follow safety regulations on trains. These include:

    · Do not stand or ride in the spaces between carriages or on the train steps.
    · Do not board or alight from a train while it is in motion. Wait until the train has come to a complete stop.
    · Do not put your arms, legs or head outside the train.
    · Do not climb or sit on the ledges of windows or doors.

One can only laugh at all these idiots who will do anything for content to acquire followers and maybe at some point become "influencers".

    Cool

Unlucky , foolish, young, doubt she will try that stunt again, of course she's fairly normal in a world of headbangers.

Despite better food and healthcare than previous generations, IQ doesn't seem to progress.

The poor girl like most Thai simply had not the cognitive ability to process the complexity of that particular manoeuvre and remain unscathed.

if a blood vessel in the brain has ruptured bleeds slowly it may be many hours before the build up of pressure produces any symptoms or can be seen on scans or x rays, thats why patients should be hospitalised and kept under observation for at least 24 hours after even a suspicion of concussion.
