Foreigner Allegedly on Drugs Causes Ruckus in Pattaya

At 9:30 PM, on March 29th, 2024, Pattaya City police received a report of a foreigner allegedly being drug-intoxicated and causing a ruckus among locals on Sukhumvit Road, Bang Lamung, Chonburi.

Pattaya City police were dispatched to the incident scene and found a foreigner causing a rampage and appearing to be drug-intoxicated. The foreigner was reportedly afraid of everybody who was near him and “waied” the police all the time.

The police attempted to convince the foreigner to calm down, however, it was not successful. To prevent unforeseen incidents, the police decided to force an arrest on the foreigner.

According to local witnesses, it was reported that a local found a red motorbike overturned in a side Soi near Sukhumvit Road, and a foreigner who appeared to be drug-intoxicated, and who threw rocks at people who went near him. The local then reported the incident to the police officers to take control of the situation.

Initially, the police officers took the foreigner, whose identity was not publicly revealed, to Pattaya City police station to prevent unforeseen incidents. However, the police would investigate further to determine his identity and nationality.

Perhaps alcohol, or meth of some kind. Never heard of a violent reaction to weed.

Skunk and alcohol will have you in an alternate reality in no time.

Recent studies, including case-reports, showed a global moderate association between cannabis use and violence. Preliminary data has even highlighted a potential larger effect in more frequent users. Also, the cannabis role in the central nervous system (CNS), with most expression in the limbic cortices, and especially as it participates in a variety of brain function modulations - including executive functions, inhibition/impulsivity, and emotional control, has been pointed as one of the main arguments for this relation.

When individuals suffering from pre-existing medical conditions use marijuana in an attempt to alleviate their symptoms, ultimately this worsens their conditions over time. Although marijuana effects depend on the individual’s endocannabinoid receptors (which control behavioural functions, like aggression) and the potency level of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in the drug, scientifically documented links between certain marijuana users and violence do exist. Wider public awareness of the risks and side effects of marijuana, as well as a more prudent health policy, and government agency monitoring of the drug’s composition, creation, and distribution, are needed and recommended.
you seem to be living in a nostalgia heavy bubble of delusion as you remember those carefree days of the 60's that you enjoyed as you tuned in turned on and dropped out to the naturally grown unmolested grass and hashish you "scored" from like minded folk, as opposed to the chemically and genetically altered poison marketed by the surly dealers and criminal gangs that control production and distribution today.

Bong on tax. Go visit your nearest weed shop.of which there are many. Not a well thought out strategy by the thais to be fair but if a bit of weed keeps them ( and you) of the yaba then where's the harm in it?

Well these 'surly dealers' haven't made it out our way.

    Far from it.

And as for knowledge of their products, well, they definitely edge out the lasses in the local liquor outlets.

'Limited Edition!' one proudly shrieked today as I barely noticed some supposedly special deal on Jack Daniel's.

He's high as a kite. Which is higher than the last three SpaceX rockets got.
