Reading an update, got out of Siam Paragon, and ran to the Siam Kempinski Hotel where he gave up. Says up to 5 injured but no deaths.

5 injured, including one foreigner.

TV newscasts are reporting 3 deaths.

Suspected gunman at Siam Paragon shooting is a minor, 3 killed

The suspect arrested in connection with a shooting spree that killed at least three persons and injured four others at Siam Paragon, Thailand’s biggest shopping mall in central Bangkok, this afternoon, is a 14-year-old boy, according to police.

The arrest was made about an hour after a gunman started shooting with a pistol at around 4 pm, sending hundreds of shoppers rushing toward the exits.

The gunman, wearing a cap and dressed in black, was reported to be armed with a 9mm pistol. Witnesses said the gunman shot at random.

The suspect was later reported to have fled to Siam Kempinski Hotel, located next to the shopping mall, where he was cornered by a group of policemen. A video clip shows four policemen approach the suspect who showed no sign of putting up resistance.

He was seen on his knees with his hands raised above his head as two of the policemen apprehended him and forced him to lie face down.

The motive of the shooting is still being investigated, police said.

The Erawan emergency medical service reported that at three people were killed and four others injured in the shooting.

But, lunacy aside, the issue that should pique interest among we more sentient beings is a simple one, how on earth did a fourteen year rich boy over entitled spoilt chickenhead Thai fuckwit get hold of a 9 mm handgun and ammunition.

Aw, fuck, who gives a shit. Twenty two years ago, 2500 men, women and children were gunned down by the police in this shitty, stupid little country at the behest of a government whose leader is now back in power.

My favourite mall too. Some great hifi shops and quite often a nice selection of performance luxury cars to spunk over. Good bookstore too and the supermarket usually has what one wants.
