Ryan White has been found safe and well and is getting a flight home today, According to Bangkok Expats FB group
You dumb spazzo, the use of that term was in reference to whores plying their trade in the northern UK wastelands and therefore quite apt.
Why the fuck would I employ the Thai reference to lesbians in that context is mystifying but then, you are a dickhead who clearly lacks the strength of character to concede he has made a stupid error and misconstrued my post because he is a fucking idiot.
Posting up front that I didn't know why you'd used the term is not misconstruing the term, you feeble-brained fuckwit.
Now fuck off to Tahitian Queen for your daily 5 large 'Changs' at mates rates, you grubby old perv.
I prefer Roger Moore , but only at weekends
Oddly both usages are correct and instead of congrts all round the usual oneupmanshit
I never heard Toms in London
However having watched Z Cars and Frost and similar N hilltribes I understood it meant what in 70s London were prossies/tarts/streetwalkers to our grandad's terminology
In 1990s I learned the 2 so called "sisters" near Wivnail's wonderful hostery were called Toms which as Cy correctly cites is Thai nuance for Lesbians, who I had always heard described by illiterate oafs of as Lezzers, muff divers or rug munchers,
Just as friends of Dorothy is so dated from days when people were in the closet for fear of prosecution , scorn or violence I recall by Aunty at London teaching hospital describing women who preferred "comfortable shoes" .
Isn't wonderful that such dual standards, hypocrisy nearly over in developed societies , you can almost measure progress by such attitudes with many African and muslim nations still phobic.
Tom here of course is our gourmet restaurant reviewer who know the Thais don't care what you do as long as you tip well
Socal bigots need to consider Emma Peel not M appeal

Funny you should mention it.
Not long after moving here I was banging about Udon Thai with a 39 yr old American lad, I was mid 20's, woulda been around 2006 (The Swannies were in the AFL final). He grew up piss poor in a black ghetto with a single mother. Left school and joined the navy at 18.
Retired with half his final pay for life, with 2 houses bought and a degree, at the age of 38.
To the blokes asking in repo.
His name was, and presumably still is, Michael.
Was 38 in 2006, from the East coast. Had been married with a daughter in the States, and married to a Korean in Korea where he was based, had bought houses in both countries, had gotten a degree in French Lit (I think) through the forces and worked as a cryptographer during the gulf war. Heavy set with Italian style gelled back black hair. Took retirement after 20 years.
I doubt he's still in Udon, he seemed a bit lost and looking for a place to call home, but ya never know. A talkative, likeable chap that certainly gets around town.
