Kratom removed from narcotics list, paving way for new cash crop

Kratom was officially removed from the narcotics list on Thursday, paving the way to its legalisation as a cash crop.

The delisting announced in the Royal Gazette follows an amendment passed by Parliament in January to legalise the plant, which has been used as a traditional herbal remedy in Thailand for centuries.

The legalisation of kratom will come into effect 90 days from today’s announcement.

"To be in line with international principles and the context of Thai society in areas that consume kratom, it is necessary to delist kratom as a narcotic," the announcement read.

Thailand’s stance on kratom began changing at the end of 2019 after the government legalised the production, possession, and use of cannabis and kratom for medical purposes.

    This is a bit surprising.

Kratom seems to be available at every bus stop in the country.

I tried it on several occasions, all in the interest of scientific study of course, and found it a fairly moderate narcotic. Pot of course is not a narcotic.

Long term use might be hard on the liver I think.

    Good for an occasional high.

Kratom is a scam. I tried it and noticed no effect and I can assure you I have used a wide gamut of drugs especially hallucinations. A waste of money.

Lol you didn't take enough. There's no way you can't notice 8-10 grams green mang da.

I stopped drinking because of kratom. I nice crisp euphoric boost from some kratom is far better than a alcohol buzz.

I presume you are getting your supply from Golden Ears across the river BS.

I liked the leaves in Thailand but found the dried leaves/powder available in Canada to be quite unsavoury. To me when something tastes bitter it does so in order to warn potential consumers, man or beast, away.

I have a bunch of the stuff kicking about but now would only use it for a purgatory.

Be careful. Dried mushrooms will give you a nice kick and are far less lethal imo.

I make my own 000 size capsules. No taste that way.

I was getting mine from Canada Kratom Express - Buy Kratom Online - Natural Kratom in Canada

But I had a weak batch 6 months ago. They said it was due to seasonality. And they are working on going hydroponic to eliminate that.

The last few batches have been from BC Kratom.

The Kratom trees I saw in NST were probably 60 feet high. I'm not sure how the hydroponic thing is going to work.

I've dealt with the BC Kratom crowd.

The pills are a good idea.

    Good luck.
