She obviously used a fake name on the parcel. And customs found the parcel. So they let the parcel get delivered so that they could make a bust. They obviously coordinated with the delivery service. The parcel was delivered to the address and they waited to see who would claim it. She got the delivery notice with the fake name. She went in and signed were her real name knowing she could deny it because it wasn't her name on the package.
And now she is playing dumb and blaming everyone but herself.
^^I don't think it has been 100% proven she is guilty. I don't rely heavily in stickman's news.
The fact is there has been a lot of innocent people put in jail in Thailand for a long time before a court hearing. Jail for a 21 yr old girl isn't a nice place to be.
She is also a teacher ffs. Most teachers have to do a police check before they get a job at an international school. I wouldn't say she is guilty until we know 100%. Is there an article saying she pleaded guilty, bs..other than stickman?
I don't think "stickman" is reliable. They let any blowhard know nothing bullshitter write on that website. Ain't that right HArry ?
The parcel was not in the name of the owner. It was just addressed to the location of the business. She used the business address for obscurity.
She wasn't dumb enough to use her name or an address with her name on it. So that she had some outs if she got caught.
It's a big topic in this racket. Some ppl say to use your name and address so nobody suspects anything. Others say to use fake names and obscure addresses if possible.
Her mistake was going in and signing for it. It was a small parcel that probably doesn't normally require a signature. But she risked it probably because she is short of money and couldn't just eat it.
I believe in using a fake name and obscure address. So I'll give her credit for that. She just had to leave the package if they were asking for a sig. But she didn't.
Her opsec was pretty good. Since she is a female , they will put the scare in her. But she will end up with a slap on the wrist.
And you believe that's not noted to be a desirable profile for a drug smuggler?[/QUOTE
What I'm saying that as a teacher, you normally have a police check from your home country. Now, if she has no prior history then she either hasn't been caught or has no history. Now that she is in Thailand, it could be a different story, but I just think it is unlikely. Most good international schools will do a police check, but from what I've heard, Thailand doesn't always require one.
Ah that's even better. All the credit to her for having good opsec. So she doesn't even have to deal with the current owner. Just some poor sap that is long gone and unaware.
She created enough obscurity to make any serious charges hard. This is why you don't use your real name people. I should post this on the darknet Reddit page
She is 21 years old. Life is a party for her. Make some cash teaching , live the good life on a nice beach island. Go to the full moon parties and live it up.
Hey there's drugs at these parties. Hey my boyfriend dabbles in party drugs.Hey maybe he could send me some small amounts and I can sell them at the parties for some extra dough.
Still waiting for hard evidence she is guilty, bs?
Hasn't TDI solved this yet?
Socal - I have not been "cucked" by anyone. PErhaps you do not understand what that means.
Anyway, her boyfriend looks like a typical low grade trailer trash druggy so I now agree with Socal. Conversation would be "Heh babe, lets send the drug in the old owners name so if we are caught we blame them". Look at his finger nails. They are fingernail jammed full of DRUGS. Dirty bastard.
- Hot in the Biscuit I saw this absolute farce of a post and have already contacted the author about it but will post here what I sent him.
1) There is NO confession. There will not BE a confession. I am the one who has hired her attorneys and I have seen ALL the evidence and there is no confession - there is a statement which reiterates her complete and utter innocence. So your article headline is complete falsehood.
2) There were not 4 other boxes of drugs found. There were two toy boxes which contained toys in the store room which are there and have been there since the shop was opened to provide toys for children who eat at our restaurant. We also have a library there for adults and a ring-toss game for all ages.
3) Ashley does not run a bar - she manages the front of house operations for a breakfast and brunch restaurant of which I am the owner.
4) Ashley does not even have a bank account so please explain how she can order anything, let alone drugs, online? I go further - a complete investigation of her financial records and bank statements for our company have shown and will show absolutely no illicit transactions and certainly not enough transactions to allow for a package of 250 grams worth of drugs to be purchased.
5) She leaves her drugs under stones in a park? This was the biggest joke of all. What park? What stones? She lives in a house on a hill that you can only reach by a dirt path and is not close to anyone. Your article is complete slander and tomorrow if you have not updated it you can expect to hear from my lawyer on charges of slander.
6) Her drug test was NEGATIVE.
7) NO DRUGS OR ILLICIT MATERIALS were found at her house or her work place OTHER THAN the unopened parcel address to Dave Rensburg who is the South African that I bought the business from and who used to be our very good friend.
8) The delivery man pressured for her to sign this package WHILE she was serving customers DURING her shift and when she SAW IT WAS addressed to someone she has known for years she simply signed her name, put the package down, and got back to work before awhile later the police raided the shop where they found nothing else at all. 9) There is no Ukraine/UK connection. I am in Ukraine attending MEDICAL SCHOOL. There was a package sent to Dave Resnburg from the UK. The two have NOTHING in common.
The above was written by the current owner of the restaurant at its Facebook page in respons to stickyboybkk
Changed my mind - he did it. She had no involvement at all. She looks like a princess who needs protecting.
What an odd statement. Can't be a Thai writing that who would know all you have to do is walk into a police station with a print out, pay 200 baht to ese the wheels, and a defamation case is opened by the coppers. They then "investigate" and send it to the prosecutors. Because it was in a media rag (of sorts) it would be criminal defamation with 2m baht and / or 2 years in jail.
Wonder if Stickboy is actually in Thailand with his arse wobbling?
Thou doth protest much ?
Her fucking boyfriend set it up obviously. And online drugs is all done by freaking Bitcoin. Bitcoin is what popularized this method. It opened the door for the whole drugs by mail business.
But this is a good freak out and alibi. They are making a big stink about it in the media and getting the lawyers involved. This is why she will just get a slap on the wrist.
I emailed Stickboy yesterday too and I asked where he got this. So far no reply
